Bob did an excellent job in helping us sell our mother's house, after her passing. He showed great consideration and empathy. He was very flexible to work with and explained everything in a way that made the process easy to understand. Our house was only on the market for a couple of days and we had several bids to choose from! He was professional and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make the process as easy for us as possible. I can't recommend him enough!

Bob was very professional throughout the entire process of selling my house as well as an unrelated tract of land the year before. He quickly responded to questions and always kept me informed. Bob was a referral from my girlfriend's best friend and I'm incredibly glad I bought my first home with him. Bob explained the intricate details of purchasing a home in the simplest terms and walked me through -- page by page -- the offer, contract, and closing processes in our very first meeting. He was available anytime -- days, nights, weekends, Tuesdays, whenever -- to answer my questions and to show me one, two, or seven homes any time I asked. Not only is he a riot to be around and extremely experienced with the greater Roanoke area, but his cranium's brimming with home improvement knowledge, helping me envision homes in a near and far future as well as guiding me on how to approach potential projects. If I shop for another home in this area, I'd be sure to return to Bob.

We were first time home buyers in May 2021 and our experience with Bob was stellar. He was prompt with communication, flexible on times, and on top of all the documents. I'm especially happy with how Bob helped us navigate this fast paced housing market. Bob's analysis on comps and what to offer was indispensable. From looking at subsequent sales in the neighborhood. His advice was right on. Bob took great care to explain things to and helped us learn so much about the process. He knows a lot about the maintenance and upkeep of houses and what to look out for. He's a wonderful realtor, and a wonderful resource on anything house-related. I will definitely recommend him to anyone. We plan on coming to him next time we're in the market.

Bob was amazing. We had previously had difficulty selling our house and it had been off and on the market for a couple of years. Bob was able to come in and sell our house within a month of it being on the market. He then found us the perfect home for our growing family. He was invested and actively a part of every step of the process with us. We did not have any confusion about the process because he stayed on top of it the entire way. We will use again in the future and would highly recommend to others!

I am admittedly deficient in my knowledge/experience with real estate matters so selling my property did not elicit warm-fuzzy feelings when it came time to act. Complicating this situation is that I live a 3.5 hour drive from the property in question. What I found out very quickly though is that I didn't need to know diddly about real estate, I just needed to know someone who DID....... and along came Bob Chandler. I was referred to Bob by a mutual acquaintance and the rest is history. Bob is a true superhero in my estimation. He didn't even blink when I reached out to him, he went straight to work and within two weeks we had an offer. He handled everything and simply dropped me a note when he needed me to do something. He kept me up-to-date as we moved through to the closing process and 30 days after the offer, it was all said and done. Bob did an absolutely amazing job and shielded me from all of the confusing details, filtering to me exactly what I needed to know without any extraneous fluff. He made it so painless for me and I am eternally grateful for what I was sure was going to be a grueling process. He understood my needs and priorities and never lost sight of them for one second. If you need a real estate agent in the area, this guy is top notch to the extent that I'm kind of sad now that it's all over. My fiancé and I purchased our first home in February. Bob has so much knowledge and so much patience. He never made me feel like he just wanted to sell us a house; It was all about finding our perfect home. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend bob for anyone who is looking!

Bob has done it again! The first time I worked with him, he sold my house in TWO DAYS (he knows I have a short attention span and that patience is not one of my better virtues)! And recently I put him to the task of finding a house that would be my home, one that I hope will mean no more moving...and he did! I told him what I absolutely would not like in a house, and then told him what I absolutely have to have, and he found it. The frosting on the cake is that he handled the most stressful parts of the process so that I didn't have to. I really like Bob, but to be honest I hope I don't have to use him again because he found the house that I hope is my HOME.

He is absolutely wonderful! He was always on top of everything.. he was always available and willing to answer any questions we had and he explained everything step by step so we could understand everything that was going on. He was also very open and honest about anything that came up during the process of buying a house. And he always made sure we were made aware of absolutely everything that was going on.
